Of course, we love all types of low calories apple desserts, but we do have a one or two of our favorites that we wanted to share with you. Thanks to some clever ingredient swaps and a little less sugar, these desserts are full of flavor and sweetness without the extra calories.

Low-calorie Apple DessertDiet Apple Crisp: Apples are already pretty sweet, so it makes sense to cut some of the sugar out of the recipe. Here’s what you will need for the apple part of the recipe: 3 medium apples cored and sliced thinly, 1 tsp of cinnamon, 2 Tbsp of sugar, 2 Tbsp of flour. For the topping, grab these ingredients: 1 cup quick oats, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 Tbsp heart-healthy margarine.

Mix the apple ingredients together and put in a 9-inch baking dish. Then mix the topping ingredients in a small bowl and sprinkle over the apples. Stick it in the oven and bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
